By George, I think I’ve got it… for now.
After hours and hours of trial and error, I think I have FINALLY settled on a new design! I wish I knew why I waited so long to discover the wonderful world of WordPress. Unless I completely lose my flippin’ mind, my days of banging out my own html are over! I hope you like the new layout, because I am pretty darn sure this one is here for a while, but then again…
Well, Becky and I are headed off to Birmingham tomorrow to have lunch with our friends Lance and Kelly Locke. We will later be having dinner with Shane Scott, and hopefully Jeff Benefield will be joining us as well. Until later, check out a couple pictures taken from our recent trip to Orange Beach.

Who is Andy Palys?
Howdy folks! As you probably already know, my name is Andy Palys. I was born on the shortest day of the year (figures), December 21, over 30 years ago in a little town called Cullman, Alabama. I grew up in Welti, Alabama. Don’t bother looking on a map– you won’t find it. I went to Welti Elementary School, which used to be Welti Junior High School. I digress.
After Welti, I moved on to Holly Pond High School. I don’t have a whole lot to say about that, so I’ll just skip it. Upon graduating from the Pond, I moved to Auburn to attend Auburn University. WAR EAGLE!! It was there that I met the love of my life, Becky Maples… but now she is Becky Palys.
I’ve been working for Cullman City Schools for almost five years now as a computer geek. Since the advent of our 1:1 Laptop Initiative, most of my duties include the repair and maintenance of over 800 Dell laptops. I work with many cool and interesting people. Two of whom are Michael Fowlkes (the other computer tech, or “new guy,” even though he’s been there almost 2 years. He’s way newer than me.) and Aimee Smith (the older sister I never wanted and still don’t), the Laptop Training Coach. I am very fortunate to have good, hard-working friends that make my job a blast.
All in all, I am a pretty laid-back, easy going chap. I think my redeeming quality is my sense of humor, but I guess that decision is up to you. If you’d like to know more, just ask. Catch ya later!

Awesome. I dig it. Im sure most everybody that visits will know who you are, but it makes it look like Becky is Andy Palys
Maybe you could put an image tag on her pic when the mouse rolls over that says something like my wife becky. Just a suggestion. What is wordpress?
